Faith’s Story

Faith R. Bult was a passionate animal lover and a devoted dentist whose enduring impact continues to inspire countless individuals. Born in Michigan, she pursued her dental education in Indiana before establishing her practice in Washington.

Faith possessed a remarkable ability to ease her patients' anxieties by having her compassionate dogs by her side. This approach created a welcoming atmosphere that transformed dental visits from intimidating experiences into calming ones. Patients were always met with Faith's comforting smile and the gentle presence of her furry

companions. Thanks to Faith and her incredible dogs, many found the courage to prioritize their dental health, shifting their perception of dental visits from daunting to uplifting.

Known for her vibrant personality, unique hair and style, Faith was dedicated to managing her dental practice while passionately supporting humane societies and shelters. She also immersed herself in the world of AKC dog shows, showcasing her intense love for dogs.

Our Mission

Faith’s Dane Haven (FDH) is a Great Dane shelter in Alger, WA, created in honor of Faith R. Bult. We carry forward her passion for dogs and people by offering a safe, welcoming space where these gentle giants can flourish.

Our mission is simple: rescue Great Danes in need, rehab them with care and compassion, and rehome them into families where they bring joy. Each Dane we serve is a chance to bring happiness one dog at a time—lighting up homes, communities, and the world with their presence. We invite all who share Faith’s love for these magnificent dogs to join us in honoring her legacy and supporting the Great Danes in our care.
